The full experience

Student Matching

We match students based on age, gender, and language level.

First Connection

Students first introduce themselves through a simple message, then a short video introduction, and eventually a live video call as their friendship grows over time.

Guided Monthly Projects

Each month, students are assigned a collaborative project to complete together. Once a week, they send updates to their international friend through the "My International Friend" platform using messages, videos, audio recordings, or pictures. At the end of the month, they meet on a Zoom video call to talk about and present the project they have been working on together using 50% English and 50% Spanish.

Interactive Platform

Each student has a personal profile on our interactive platform where they can upload project updates, communicate with their international friend, and access scheduled activities and assignments throughout the program.

Goals & Achievements

Students complete projects, communication challenges, and cultural activities throughout the program, earning achievements and tracking their progress as they build confidence and real-world language skills.

Safety & Supervision

Trust is the foundation of every international friendship. Student activity and communication on the platform are monitored and supervised by both collaborating parties to help create a safe and positive learning environment for every student.

Our curriculum

Collaborative Project-Based Curriculum

The program follows a collaborative project-based curriculum adapted to each student's age and language level. Through guided projects, communication challenges, and cultural activities, students develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and real-world communication skills while working together with their international partner.

Each project encourages teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and authentic language use in meaningful real-life contexts.
